How to Pack for a Trip to Las Vegas

 You’re headed to Las Vegas for a quick getaway – wonderful! You have your plane tickets and have reserved a hotel. You’ve hit the ATM and have the cash you will need to enjoy yourself. Now all that is left is to figure out how to pack for a trip to Las Vegas. Lucky for you it’s a pretty casual destination that doesn’t require much packing-thought. Still, there are a few basics to keep in mind:
- Know What Clothing You Will Need. While Las Vegas is a very casual town with few dress codes in place, some of the more elite restaurants do require more formal dress attire. Be sure to pack clothes appropriate for the types of places that you will be going to. Plus, be sure to check the weather before you leave home. Las Vegas can get very hot during the day and quite chilly at night, so be prepared.
- Pack Light. Las Vegas is to happening town with a lot to see and do, so don’t weight yourself down with a lot of unnecessary baggage. Stick with the essentials and pick up what you need while in town.
- Use a Wheeled Suitcase. They are easier to maneuver at the airport and in hotels.
- Don’t Forget the Sunscreen. Many visitors (especially those form colder climates) forget all about wearing sunscreen while in Vegas, much to their chagrin.
- Bring a camera. You will want to have a record of your trip, so be sure to bring along a digital camera for capturing those special moments.
Of course every vacationer is different and so are their personal needs, but if you start with this basic list you’ll soon know exactly how to pack for a trip to Las Vegas without forgetting anything important.
