There are a lot of things that attract people to Vegas: the casinos; the shows; and let’s not forget the Las Vegas weather! With just about picture-perfect weather, this desert town sports more than 300 sunny days every year. Of course, the evenings can get a bit chilly (especially during the winter months), but even then usually only a light jacket is needed. Want to learn more about Las Vegas weather? • the annual rainfall is 10 inches
• there are more sunny days than anything else in Las Vegas
• since it is located in the desert, temperatures can plummet once the sun goes down – often by 20 degrees or more
• the spring and summer are Vegas’ hottest months, with daytime temperatures reaching over 100 degrees (although the nights are amore comfortable 70’s something)
• winter can seem a bit chilly for those living in the area, but not for cold-weather tourists, with temperatures averaging in the 60’s during the day and high 30’s at night.
