Las Vegas offers visitors a lot of things, but few people realize what great eats there are to be found throughout the town. From five-star establishments run by some of the best culinary chefs in the world, to tasty (and filling) basic buffets, figuring out where to eat in Las Vegas can be a real chore, especially if you love food. So, take some time to do a little homework before your arrival to ensure you don’t miss out on great eating opportunity while in town.
Here are just a few places to get you started on your quest to discovering where to eat in Las Vegas:

• Joël Robuchon, can be found in the MGM Grand, and offers a once-in-a-lifetime culinary event that is an absolute must for those with a more distinguished palette. Warning: the experience does come with a hefty price tag.
• Alizé, located at the top of the Palms offers nearly perfect dishes and an unbelievable view of the city. A bit easier on the wallet, the Alize is considered one of the best all-around restaurants in Las Vegas.
• Rosemary’s Restaurant, 8125 W. Sahara Ave., offers some real southern cooking about 20 minutes from the Main Strip.
• Capriotti’s, on West Sahara Ave. is cheap but good, offering monster submarine sandwiches that can’t be missed. The price: under $10.
• Le Village Buffet, located in Paris Las Vegas, is a unique buffet which offers regional French food specialties. Priced higher than a standard buffet, it is a great way to enjoy a better meal at a cheaper price than a regular French restaurant.
• Main Street Station Garden Court, in Main Street Station, may be the best buffet in town, offering made-to-order specialties and extraordinary desserts.

As you can see, there are more than enough culinary options in town. The key to figuring out where to eat in Las Vegas is to figure out what type of atmosphere you are after; what type of food you are hungry food and how much you can afford.
